2026 NFL Spring League Meeting: Ari Emanuel & Mark Shapiro Named Las Vegas Raiders Minority Owners

At 2026 NFL Spring League Meeting News: Ari Emanuel, Mark Shapiro Approved As Las Vegas Raiders Minority Owners. The Las Vegas Raiders are racking up a row of celebrity investors with Tech billionaire Michael Dell and Hollywood superagent Ari Emanuel joining an already legendary team. First, Egon Durbin, a pioneer venture capitalist CEO of private-equity firm Silver Lake, is now majority owner of the Raiders with 22 percent of the organization. Mark Davis, son of legendary Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis, will continue to be the controlling shareholder of the team. Second, TKO Group executives Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro buying stakes in the team for the first time, under a deal approved by NFL owners at the 2026 NFL Spring League Meeting . They are joined by Dell Technology founder Michael Dell and Blackstone Head of Global Private Equity Strategies Joseph Baratta. Sports Business Journal reports that The foursome have entered the NFL ownership ranks by buying Raiders stakes previously owned by First Football, a consortium led by Paul Leff, David Abrams and Dan Goldring, which has owned a large minority share of the Raiders since 2007. That group is divesting its entire 25.3% interest in the team, sources said. BDT & MSD represented First Football in the deal. The other two buyers of First Football’s stake are existing Raiders LP Egon Durban, who has a right of first refusal on control of the team if Mark Davis sells; and real estate developer Michael Meldman. Durban and Meldman first bought into the team in 2024. Once this deal closes, the new buyers will have the following ownership percentage interests in the Las Vegas Raiders per a document shared with owners and executives at the 2026 NFL Spring League Meeting. Durban 22% (+11%) Meldman 12.9% (+5.4%) Dell 5.3% Baratta 1.7% Emanuel 1.4% Shapiro 0.6% A sign that Egon Durbin quarterbacked all of this is the fact that TKO Group has Silver Lake as a controlling investor, and Durbin joined the Dell Technologies Board of Directors in October 2013. And Michael Dell and Egon Durban put their own cash, a Dell Technologies sponsorship, and the company’s workstation laptops on the line with the professional bull riding team the Austin Gamblers.
