Oakland Councilmember Ken Houston Unethically Attacks Sean Everhart Who Is Filing Ethics Complaint On Wednesday April 1st, Oakland Resident Sean Everhart is coming in to the virtual room of Zennie62 Live to register a complaint against the alleged behavior of Oakland District 7 Councilmember Ken Houston. Sean Everhart reached out via Facebook to write that “Ken went crazy on me. I have the text messages to prove it.” What this is over is the problem of crime and grime in Sheffield Village which is in the southeast corner of Oakland and along the border of San Leandro. Sean has some pointed criticism of how Ken is not solving the problems of crime and grime in Sheffield Village, But rather than listen, Ken goes on the defensive and thinks Sean is disrespecting him, from the way Everhart tells the story: He is terrible. He doesn't return emails. I sent him a text, because he gave me his number. I said "Hey did you get my emails" He then called and flipped the f out It sounded like he wanted to get in a bar fight. I said, "Well I'm going to record you now" at which point he hung up. He told me I was being disrespectful There’s no question that Councilmember Ken Houston is working his tail off at his job. But there’s also no question that Councilmember Ken Houston has a bedside way that leaves a lot to be desired. There’s the sad incident of Councilmember Ken Houston flipping the bird at the public audience at an Oakland City Council last year, And there’s Ken’s issues with Oakland legend Gene Hazzard, which he’s cleared up of late. One can go on, and on, but one thing is clear: we are all concerned about and love Oakland Councilmember Ken Houston. So, Sean plans to come on the program and share his problem in more detail.
