Mayor Thao Aide Brandon Harami Blocks Requests For Emails Between Sheng And Oakland A's And MLB This is a request under the California Public Records Act I am requesting any and all email communication between the mayor's office (@oaklandca.gov) and Rob Manfred and his team (Commissioner of Major League Baseball), as well as all emails between the mayor's office and John Fisher and his team (owner of Oakland Athletics) since January 2021,sufficient to show any and all communication attempts to make a deal for the Oakland A's to stay in Oakland. This includes but is not limited to negotiations and conversations about the Oakland A's staying in Oakland, deals, proposals of moving the team, gaining an expansion team, Coliseum lease extension, proposals to keep the A's in Oakland, and the A's name.
