Interview With Now Former Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf On 12 Years Of Service To Oakland
Interview With Now Former Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf On 12 Years Of Service To Oakland Today at 1 PM and to 1:30 PM PST, we meet with my long time friend and godsister now Now Former Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, to celebrate 12 years of public service as an elected official. Libby was Oakland City Council District Four Representative from 2010 to 2014, before being elected Oakland's 50th Mayor and by a landslide, thanks to the endorsement of then California Governor (and former boss) Jerry Brown. Since I was the one to push her to run for Mayor of Oakland in 2009, then walked for her during her run for City Council, this is more of a personal reflection on some good times with the "Friends of Libby" and "Bloggers for Libby" and other memorable times.
