The Sounds Of Oakland: The Great Lake Merritt Fish Die Off
Our video of the great fish die off at Lake Merritt in Oakland. Scientist said the fish died due to a red algae bloom that suffocated the fish in the water. However, what a lot of people didn't report is the bloom was most likely caused by sewage plants dumping too much sewage into the Bay. Credit: Oakland Photo Vault 2022
