Leigh Steinberg Interview On The Late Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas And CTE
Leigh Steinberg Interview On The Late Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas And CTE Brain scans of late wide receiver Demaryius Thomas have diagnosed the beloved Denver Broncos WR with Stage 2 CTE. He sustained seizures induced by a 2019 car crash and were determined to be his likely cause of death, but this recent diagnosis may cloud the full picture of Thomas's health over the last few years of his life. Reports state that those close to Thomas noticed strange behavioral changes in him, a common effect of Stage 2 CTE. Studies have shown CTE to be prevalent among deceased NFL players, contributing to a severe drop in quality of life and health as players age. Concussion prevention has been at the core of the NFL's attempts at making the game safer. To shed more light on this problem, I turned to talk with my long time friend Leigh Steinberg, who has been at the fore-front of calls for protection of NFL athletes from CTE. Leigh and I are set to talk about this at 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST Wednesday here at Zennie62 YouTube.
