The Rap Show is back! Chuck Johnson, the original host of The Rap Show when it was broadcasted on the pioneering - Oakland based - Soul Beat Television, is back with with The Rap Show 2.0 (TRS 2.0). In the 25 or so years since its original airing, Chuck has emerged as a Community Activist, Culture Keeper, and Sports Aficionado, all while maintaining his deep rooted contacts and relationships in the world of Hip Hop. It’s with this in mind that TRS 2.0 has decided to expand the scope of the original concept of The Rap Show to include the worlds of Hip Hop, Politics, Sports, and Culture to mirror the life growth Chuck has experienced on a personal and professional level.
