Oakland A’s President Dave Kaval Tweets Las Vegas Love Day After Howard Terminal Special Meeting
Oakland A’s President Dave Kaval Tweets Las Vegas Love Day After Howard Terminal Special Meeting One day after the Oakland City Council Special Hearing on The Howard Ballpark Project, Oakland A’s President Dave Kaval tweeted another love letter about Las Vegas, from Las Vegas. This time the Stanford grad wrote: Incredible tour of @boringcompany operations of the Vegas Loop with Steve Davis. Thank you for sharing your vision for the future of transportation! Keep digging! The responses, 89 to date, were mostly not kind: Example One: Kaval has been instructed to move to Las Vergas if Oakland doesn't give Fisher all he wants in town. He's happy to skip Oakland for Las Vergas if that means getting a publicly funded stadium and tax incentives, just like Toupee Mark Davis got. Kaval is a fake. That I've learned. Example Two: Kaval is there looking for an A’s ballpark location. He’s talked about it in numerous interviews. It has zero to do with the Aviators. Example Three: Wait until he gets to Vegas and realizes that no one is leaving their house to attend any of the 82 game season when the summer weather is over 100 degrees. Example Four: I worked in media for years. If this is posturing it's pathetic. You are openly looking for hookers when you have a wife, albeit one that is not like she was. This is a flagrant misuse of social media. Be a pioneer and work the channels behind the scenes. Example Five: As an Oakland a’s fan in Fremont. I hope we move to Vegas. I can see why Dave is doing all this showboating. Vegas shows effort even if minimal. What the hell has the Bay Area and city done for us other then routinely shut us down. The last tweet is correct. The City of Oakland has sent the message that its disastrously bad at economic development and business retention. Stay tuned.
