Jason Dalton, the Uber Driver who turned Kalamazoo Shooter, was the product of an all too common set of circumstances facing white men today: middle age, poor jobs, overwork, family pressure, social isolation, and gun ownership. At this point it's really not helpful to cast this off as a white problem but it's an American problem. What once impacted us blacks more than anyone else is now spreading to include middle aged white men. We are seeing the results. The pattern is too common and yet nothing is being done.
