After Las Vegas Ballpark Groundbreaking Some In Vegas Want To Stop Oakland Talk But That's Wrong There's a few Las Vegas social media dwellers who want you and me to stop talking about Oakland. That is a really wrong way to go. Whoever started it must stop because it does not make an ounce of sense. The Oakland A's were in Oakland for 55 years or from 1968 to 2024. That over a half century. That is a lot of history. They are younger than the Oakland Raiders, and both are in Las Vegas. If Oakland can be in the conversation with the Raiders in Las Vegas, then why not for the Athletics in Las Vegas. Because the media will not let anyone forget where the A's came from. Oakland. See this headline: "Oakland Athletics break ground on new Las Vegas stadium" That was in the news this week and will continue to be in the news and part of it and also sometimes driving it. Las Vegas people can do nothing about that. They have to embrace time and let people settle in. The A's should not forget Oakland and Oakland should not forget the A's. The Kim Coates Interview Asks Will Bruegel In The Walking Dead Dead City Come Back From The Dead? Zennie62Media is honored to present the legendary Kim Coates who played the nasty villain Bruegel in Season Two, and saw a diabolical end. Now, just says after the end of TWD-DC Season Two, there's talk that Bruegel may be back from the dead. Why? Well, Screen Rant offered this take: While The Walking Dead's recent spinoffs have featured several good villains, Dead City season 2 introduced one of the franchise's best antagonists in years, and their death couldn't have been more perfect. Considering some of the zombie universe's biggest threats like Alpha and the Governor were only around for a handful of seasons, it's no surprise that The Walking Dead's spinoff villains don't tend to get a long tenure in the franchise. Most of them are only given a handful of episodes to make an impression, making it all the more impressive when one stands out as much as Bruegel. Played by Kim Coates, Bruegel made his debut in Dead City season 2's premiere, and despite not uttering a single word, he already appeared to be captivating. Throughout the following episodes, he only became more entertaining, but the evil faction leader was sadly killed off in Dead City season 2's ending. While it was certainly a little disappointing to see such a great character axed, it's hard to argue that Bruegel didn't have it coming after all the pain he'd caused, and The Walking Dead absolutely nailed his death, giving him the most fitting send-off imaginable. Or maybe its the actor Kim Coates who played Bruegel that is the reason for fans wanting his return? Kim Coates is best known for his role as Alexander "Tig" Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy and as Declan Gardiner in the Citytv series Bad Blood, as well as his recurring roles in Prison Break, Cold Case, CSI and CSI: Miami. He has also had film roles in The Last Boy Scout (1991), Bad Boys (1995), Black Hawk Down (2001), King of Sorrow (2007), the reinterpretation of Assault on Precinct 13 (2005), and Goon (2011). Kim's film career began in 1991 with The Last Boy Scout. Two Warner Brothers' hits followed: Innocent Blood and The Client. Since that time he has starred in over forty films, including Academy Award winners Black Hawk Down directed by Ridley Scott, and Pearl Harbor directed by Michael Bay. Other films include Waterworld and Open Range with Kevin Costner, Grilled with Ray Romano, Silent Hill opposite Sean Bean, Hostage with Bruce Willis, Assault on Precinct 13, Unforgettable, Skinwalkers, and Hero Wanted. Kim returned to Entourage for it's final season as Carl Ertz, the sleazy movie Producer. His performance garnered so much attention in previous seasons that Ertz's return was a direct request. Las Vegas Athletics Ballpark Groundbreaking Livestream New Home Of The Oakland A's Announced June 23rd, 11 AM EST A sports development journey that started with the Oakland A's Planning to build an iconic ballpark and office and housing city-within-a-city called Howard Terminal near Jack London Square. And before that, the A's tried to build a ballpark in Uptown Oakland, flirted with relocating to Fremont, were blocked from San Jose, and chased out of Jack London Square by a group of environmentalists headed by Vivian Kahn. But Howard Terminal was to be the final try. It was stalled by the City of Oakland's habit of working on its own time rather than on the developer's time. Eventually, Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred established the option of Las Vegas relocation. But when the City of Oakland failed to finish the process of starting the tax increment financing district and with it, the needed subsidy that would cause new infrastructure to be built for the ballpark, Las Vegas became the preferred relocation choice. By April of 2023, as the City of Oakland produced a draft tax increment financing use plan, the Oakland A's were before the Nevada Legislature, putting the finishing touches on the Southern Nevada Tourism and Innovation District. The legislation that is the fiscal and political go-ahead with the Las Vegas Ballpark.
