Ted Cruz Sex Scandal Story Reads Flimsy The National Enquirer's Ted Cruz Sex Scandal Story has generated a lot of attention since it was posted on Thursday. But a read of the actual article (which lacks an author name) reveals a number of flimsy claims and lacks more than one specific account for each of the five women. Anyone can say that a man or woman had a hookup with some one else. But absent an admission from either party or photos or videos it's without true merit. This is very different from the John Edwards Sex Scandal Story. The main difference is that a number of people, including this blogger, were checking on the Edwards rumors of the nature of his relationship with Rielle Hunter - the story consisted of far more than rumored hookups and included Edwards helping Hunter because she was making a documentary about her. Eventually there was enough smoke to find the fire. But in this case, that is not there.
