Racial Profiling In Oakland: Another Black Uber Driver Talks
Racial Profiling In Oakland: Another Black Uber Driver Talks
Racial Profiling in Oakland receives little attention as a topic of focus by the mainstream media, so I have conducted an on going set of interviews with blacks, and others who represent different color and ethnic backgrounds, but have a story or observation. Here, yet another Oakland black male Uber driver shares his tales and views. As a rule, I don't use face or name.

Oscars 2016 Doc Short List Has "Amy", "The Hunting Ground"
Oscars 2016 Doc Short List Has "Amy", "The Hunting Ground"
Oscars 2016 Doc Short List Has "Amy", "The Hunting Ground" The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences has released the short list of 15 documentaries competing to be Best Documentary at the 2016 Academy Awards. The list will be paired down to five in January. I must say I strongly object to "The Hunting Ground" being on this list. It's a false smear job on Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston. "Amy", the powerful documentary about the late Amy Winehouse, is the front runner. Other awesome films are "3 1/2 Minutes, 10 Bullets" and "Cartel Land" as well as "Winter On Fire" (which I mistakenly referred to as "Writer On Fire" but note the error). Here is the list: “Amy,” On the Corner Films and Universal Music “Best of Enemies,” Sandbar “Cartel Land,” Our Time Projects and The Documentary Group “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief,” Jigsaw Productions “He Named Me Malala,” Parkes-MacDonald and Little Room “Heart of a Dog,” Canal Street Communications “The Hunting Ground,” Chain Camera Pictures “Listen to Me Marlon,” Passion Pictures “The Look of Silence,” Final Cut for Real “Meru,” Little Monster Films “3 1/2 Minutes, 10 Bullets,” The Filmmaker Fund, Motto Pictures, Lakehouse Films, Actual Films, JustFilms, MacArthur Foundation and Bertha BRITDOC “We Come as Friends,” Adelante Films “What Happened, Miss Simone?,” RadicalMedia and Moxie Firecracker “Where to Invade Next,” Dog Eat Dog Productions “Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom,” Pray for Ukraine Productions

NFL Owners Meeting Dallas Preview, Oakland Raiders Coliseum City Update
NFL Owners Meeting Dallas Preview, Oakland Raiders Coliseum City Update
NFL Owners Meeting Dallas Preview, Oakland Raiders Coliseum City Update The NFL will hold its special 'one day' Owners Meeting this Wednesday, December 2nd at the Four Seasons Dallas Resort at Las Colinas, which is really Irving, Texas. What is neat about the venue is its proximity to DFW International Airport, as well as the fact that it's the kind of luxurious digs the NFL Owners prefer, even if it's for a short stay. All the better to continue the matter of pondering the NFL's future in Los Angeles. The last time we met was in New York City, and for the special presentations by the leaders of Oakland, San Diego, and St. Louis. That seemed like yesterday; now the Dallas meeting is more of a formality, and to determine the timetable for the application of intent to relocate to Los Angeles and for the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, and St. Louis Rams. While no decisions will be made, it's one more place where the NFL Family can gather and talk – and those discussions are at times as valuable as the decisions. While the NFL Owners talk LA timetables on Wednesday, it's important to set the stage by checking in on where each home city is, starting with Oakland. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf scored points with her presentation to the NFL in New York, but now she's got to deliver a stadium, so she's on the clock more than ever. She realizes the entry of Disney Chairman Robert Iger has meaning only if Oakland does nothing. To that end, a new version of the Raiders stadium proposal is being readied – this one will feature a $200 million lease revenue bond issue. No, it's not the Industrial Development Bond approach I have called for, and for months, and that's because this group of geniuses insists on reinventing the wheel. If I sound salty and derisive of the plan, I am, and it's because I have ran the numbers, and know this stadium deal can be done without a commitment of public money. It would be really nice if Mayor Schaaf would get tough, call all of us into one big series of meetings, and let us battle it out, plan for plan. The political hangup in the $200 million lease revenue bond issue version of Coliseum City (no, that's not a mis-print, the total deal is for about $1 billion, but that's the city's share) is who will be the backstop: City, County, or Raiders. Mayor Schaaf wants it to be the Oakland Raiders and not the City of Oakland (the question is, will the City Council out-vote her, but I doubt it), but that kind of game of determining who holds the hot potato shows how little real analysis is being done. It's why a task force format is better, and also is a good reason why us fans should just grab the bull by the horns and form our own group, and then sell it to the Raiders ourselves. I say that, because the answer is to form another legal entity and have that organization be the holder of the mortgage note for that portion of the Coliseum that's valued at $200 million. Thus, if the bond issue goes into default, the bond trustee winds up owning that part of the Coliseum and not the public entities. Understand? Also, this whole Oakland deal is without a stadium developer, and that brings me to my next bombshell to come: I know of a San Francisco developer who wants to do this, and has worked with the National Football League at a very high level, as well as having carved out a reputation as a doer in the San Francisco Bay Area. He knows all of the politicians, and knows Oakland, too. When I mention the name, those who know will slap their heads and say “Of course! Let's bring him in.” This person would be the perfect Oakland counter to Carmen Policy and Robert Iger in Carson. I'll save mention of that person for later. Now, let's look at San Diego and its Mayor Kevin Faulconer. Mayor Faulconer is my bet to be one part of the whole that wins this whole horse race and that's because he's purely aggressive. On November 20th, the Mayor announced he was meeting with Kansas City Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt, and to present his stadium plan and answer any questions. And his staff is putting what he calls “the finishing touches” on the Mission Valley environmental impact report. The problem is the one piece of the puzzle Faulconer needs is not there, and that's the San Diego Chargers. The Bolts continue to avoid meeting with the Mayor, unlike Oakland. Why the Chargers have adopted this litigation-inviting strategy is beyond me, but they're working it to death. MORE http://ift.tt/1SthNtc

Sam Pepper Prank YouTube Video Shows Double Standard
Sam Pepper Prank YouTube Video Shows Double Standard Sam Pepper, a YouTube Creator with over 2 million subscribers, made a prank murder video that has been seen over 600,000 times as of now. Normally YouTube would not allow ads to be ran with this kind of video that shows violence. Yet, that is what is being allowed. Why? This is a clear example of a double standard that should not be. I have video commentary about acts that constitute fights in fast food restaurants or trains - my videos are age restricted or blocked in some countries or unable to make money. Why this one? Is it because Sam Pepper has millions of subscribers? That is not right.

Erica Kinsman Facebook Jameis Winston Accuser Party Girl The Hunting Ground Ignored
Erica Kinsman Facebook Jameis Winston Accuser Party Girl The Hunting Ground Ignored
Erica Kinsman Facebook Jameis Winston Accuser Party Girl At Red Rocks Bar - The Hunting Ground didn't report this. Erica Kinsman is the then Florida State University student, who met then-freshman QB Jameis Winston in December of 2012 at a bar called Pot Belly's in Tallahassee, Florida. The events point to an alcohol fueled sexual encounter with two direct witnesses. But Kinsman did not accurately recall events, and so assuming that she was sexually assaulted, contacted Tallahassee Police. But because she declined to press charges, and many would not talk, the case was delayed. After a new lawyer for Kinsman got involved, the case was reopened, and what followed was an attempt to paint FSU QB Jameis Winston as a rapist, inspite of the fact that the seamen stains found on Kinsman's panties was from another man named Jamal Roberts. Even though Kinsman admitted she had sex with Roberts and vice versa, he has said next to nothing, and no one has tried to look at his background. Meanwhile Winston has been cleared of criminal actions - he did not rape or assault Erica Kinsman. But that has not stopped her from trying to get his money in a civil lawsuit. The now Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB has played well, even as Kinsman went to make her face and name public in a documentary called "The Hunting Ground" But the truth about Kinsman has not been revealed, and until I found her Facebook Page here: http://ift.tt/1NYPM8P I found it after searching for Jamel Roberts Facebook Page and then noticing a correspondance with an "Erica Nicole" - the photos are of Kinsman, and a communication with two others with the last name of Kinsman helps to confirm that the page belongs to Erica Kinsman. Erica Kinsman's Facebook Page reveals a young woman who's actions did not heat up until 2012, when she entered Florida State and joined the sorority Delta Zeta. On September 3rd 2012 a photo was posted where Erica was tagged as being part of a party at Red Rocks Bar and Dance Club - a popular place that even has stripper poles on its dance floor and caters to the FSU crowd. She is second from the right in the photo. But it was not the only time Erica was at Red Rocks Bar and Dance Club, as there is another photo of her at an SAE Party the very next year. Erica Kinsman, from her Facebook Page, was enjoying a common right of passage that includes drinking and dancing and dating as a freshman. My assertion from what I have read is that Kinsman does not remember what happened with Jameis Winston and that drinking made her a different and more sexually aggressive woman. Erica, like many young women, has been taught that its not good to be a woman who wants sex just for pleasure - so she masks her real desires then uses drink to bring them out. Jekyll and Hyde as a sorority girl. Something everyone has either missed or willfully ignored. Until now. Where Jameis Winston is at fault is in not calling her after he dropped her off that night. He could have helped her remember what really happened, ended any negative ideas, and the two could have been friends.
