Dez Bryant Gets Cowboys Franchise Tag Non Exclusive Dez Bryant, the Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver, was given the franchise tag, but non-exclusive. This means other teams can bid for his services. I see why Dallas did that but I feel it was a huge mistake. Dez is at the top of his game and could be picked up by a team at a price the Cowboys may not want to match.
Brooklyn In Oakland Not Oakland Is Brooklyn This video is an answer to my good friend Ken Hamik. Ken remembers my long rant that I was tired of Oakland being compared to Brooklyn, New York. With all of this, you would think Halperin would know something about Videoblogging. But here he proves he is an old media guy. Jeb Bush was at an event at Urbandale, Iowa, and Mark Halperin was there on the scene. But when Bush walked in front of him, Halperin didn't get in front of his face, where the other camera-users were and the light was shining on his face, Mark just stood there and videoed the back of Jeb Bush's head. What did Mark see back there that was news worthy other than a silhouette of a head surrounded by bright light? That works for a still shot but Mark was obviously making a video. Mark, always get in front of the subject. Also point your camcorder at yourself and tell your viewers what is happening. Wow. Jeb Bush must have an interesting head!
