Jared Goff, Carson Wentz Agent Met With LA Rams Kronke On 2016 NFL Draft This Week Ryan Tollner, the agent for Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, said he met with Stan Kronke, the owner of the LA Rams this week and after the Rams moved up to get the first pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Tollner said Kronke told him the Rams made the trade with Cleveland not to make a splash but to get the best player. But that Tollner met with Kronke so soon is the news. I am at the Berkeley Law School for the Sports Symposium, where Tollner moderated a panel on player contracts today. Stay tuned.

I am at the Berkeley Sports Law Symposium where MLS Soccer President Mark Abbott praised the new Atlanta Falcons / MLS Stadium as perfect for soccer. Kirk Lacob, the Assistant GM of The Golden State Warriors gave a good talk on how Golden State uses analytics in player management decisions. He also praised and then slammed Oracle Arena, saying it was a great place to play but it only had one kitchen and "have you had the food?" Stay tuned.
