Will Smith, retired former NFL Defensive End, was driving along Sophy Wright Place in New Orleans Saturday night with his wife. The pair were returning home from the French Quarter Festival when the back of Smith's Mercedes Benz G63 was hit by a Hummer H2. Smith, the driver of the Hummer H2, and his wife exchanged words. Then the driver of the Hummer H2 pulled out a gun and shot Smith many times and then shot his wife in the right leg, twice. Smith was the Saints 2004 NFL Draft first round pick and played for the team his entire NFL career. We need gun control.
