Oakland Raiders Season Tickets Sellout Proves Mark Davis Las Vegas Stadium Is DOA
Oakland Raiders Owner Mark Davis gleefully announced that for the first time in franchise history the entire supply of season tickets is all but sold out and a wait list is being formed. The Raiders report that over 50,000 season ticket order have been processed, up from 43,000 in 2015. The demand for season tickets is so high the only way to meet it in the future is to .... build a new stadium. So why try the unproven and legally challenged Las Vegas market? Why make threats to leave Oakland when the very thing that was the basis for the Raiders desire to move - supposedly poor season ticket sales - is gone? On top of all that, Mark Davis was, I am told, planning a lawsuit against the NFL to have the franchise relocation fee waved because the team could not afford it. That would pave the way for a move to Las Vegas. Only Mark Davis would be tied up in court for a long time - and most likely lose. So with those two major unknowns why not stay in Oakland?

W. Kamau Bell has hit A-list celebrity status after the first episode of his new show United Shades of America looked at and met up with the KKK. The response has been remarkable with Bell and the show hitting Twitter trends and Google Trends barometer too. With all of this what is next? Oakland? Last year, Bell was the focus of a racist incident at the Elwood Cafe in Berkeley and near the Oakland and Berkeley broader. One of the clerks mistook him as a homeless black man talking to a group of white customers, when he had came up to meet his wife and their friends. The result was a blog post by Bell and a locally talked about town hall event. But it's clear Bell didn't stop there. Most recently Bell had a town hall talk with Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf. Given Oakland's recent spate of racial profiling incidents and affordable housing problems, it did not go well for the Mayor. (Who is my god sister in the interest of full disclosure.). But will Bell air that? Does Bell plan to turn his new television lens on Oakland and the SF Bay Area? Stay tuned.

It's one thing to have an iPhone 4K and it's quite another to have the iPhone actually set to 4K. I figured that out after I bought the upgrade to the iPhone 6s and made two vlogs! So go to settings and then photo and camera and look for the 4K resolution option. But be careful because that higher quality means a larger file that uses more of your phone's space! Happy vlogging!!

Each one of them has finished first in NCAA Passing Effiiciency Rankings at least once and then went on to start for an NFL team. Over the course of the history of the NCAA Passing Efficiency Ratings, the top QB went on to start for an NFL team 80 percent of the time. And if you include the top 3 QBs, each year the rate still over 70 percent. Moreover, if we look at the top 3 in NCAA Passing Efficiency, we find names like Andrew Luck and Cam Newton and Vince Young. Extend that to the top 10 and we see Aaron Rogers and Matt Leinart. The bottom line is NCAA Passing Effiiciency Rankings are an almost perfect predictor of college QB success in the NFL. Moreover, since 2007 and Sam Bradford, the ranking has been can't miss at 100 percent. Here's the list: 2005 Stefan Lefors 2006 Colt Brennan 2007 Sam Bradford - NFL start 2008 Sam Bradford - NFL start 2009 Tim Tebow - NFL start 2010 Kellen Moore - NFL start 2011 Russell Wilson - NFL start 2012 AJ McCarren - NFL start 2013 Jameis Winston - NFL start 2014 Marcus Mariota - NFL start For 2016 NFL Draft.... 2015 Seth Russell is staying at Baylor so next up is Vernon Adams, then Brandon Doughty, then at 6 we have Kevin Hogan, with Trevone Boykin at 8, Jared Goff 10, Paxton Lynch 12) The point is, the statisical history tells us that Adams and Doughty are most likely to start for an NFL team, but then of the QBs that came out and started in the NFL. 40 percent were in the top 10 at least once in college since 2010.
