After the NFL Owners voted to allow Stan Kronke to move the St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles, effectively making them the Los Angeles Rams, I went down to the lobby restaurant at The Westin Memorial City Hotel in Houston and to enjoy cocktails with various people. It was during that time I learned (and without my asking first) that Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf charmed and won over the NFL Staff and that played a major role in the league workers favoring that the Raiders remain in our city. The powerful Oakland Town Hall and the Raiders fans were mentioned as the other reason but in truth to the message of my source, NFL staffers are big fans of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf. So, Oakland Raiders Fans should give Mayor Schaaf big cheers of thanks rather than the occasional Bronx cheers that were issued during the LA Relocation Process period. Thanks Libby!
