The Minnesota Vikings win over the St. Louis Rams 21 to 18 in overtime. Rams Rookie Todd Gurley got 24 rushes for 89 yards and one TD. Peterson had a 4.3 yard average versus 3.7 for Gurley.

The Atlanta Falcons have lost their way schematically after ripping off five wins out of the gate. They forgot about their running game and forgot how to move the pocket and distribute the football with the passing game. They lost.

NY Giants 32, Tampa Bay Bucs 18: Winston Good But Team Errors Costly Once again the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost a game they should have won - this time to the New York Giants 32 to 18. Winston was 16 of 36 for 241 no TDs but no INTs either. The Bucs have a problem borne of poor red zone offensive design. It would help to hold on to the football too. Fumbles by Chris Sims and Mike Evans helped put New York in position to win.
