When I first heard about it, I started thinking about the news that Jack Dorsey was named permanent CEO of Twitter. I was thinking about the party at Mighty Nightclub in San Francisco in 2007 that Evan and Jack threw and I was at. The well-attended party that announced Twitter to the World. I remember thinking that I hope Twitter makes it. In those days Twitter took a back seat to something called Pownce by Leah Culver. That was the big thing then. But it was sold to Six Apart and Twitter was the only platform of its kind that was funded. Heavily. Now Twitter is a public company with major influence. It's changed the World. But the core of what it is remains and that is what Jack and Evan built. It's only fitting they Jack Dorsey be the CEO of Twitter. The tech founder understands what they built like no one else does. Welcome back, Jack.
