Maria Sharapova Loses Nike, Porsche, Tag Heuer Sponsorships After Failed Drug Tests
Maria Sharapova continues her sad and sudden fall from tennis grace. Nike announced the end of its $70 million sponsorship with her, then Porsche followed, and finally Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer. The suspension laid down by the International Tennis Federation May last for two years, though there are some to expect it to go away sooner. Meanwhile former tennis star Jennifer Capriati went on Twitter to rail against Maria Sharapova. Jennifer asserts that Maria's past championships should be stripped from her. But the World Anti-Doping Agency has not done that in the case of other athletes , so it's not fair to do that to Maria. Stay tuned.
